PCHS Class of 1976 - 40th Reunion September 16-17, 2016

Plans are FINALIZED for our next (and greatest) class reunion yet. Based on feedback from many, we are holding it in the Fall, to reduce conflicts with summer vacations. We have selected the weekend of September 16-17. There is a Facebook Group called "PCHS Class of 1976" which we have been using for messages/posts - 89 of the class is using the group! If you are not a member, PLEASE SIGN UP!! We will use email and phone as backups, but it is much easier if we have a SINGLE way to communicate. Or, if you know of someone that is not using email or Facebook, just SHARE the info with them! (we aren't incurring the cost of mail this time). Here is a rundown of the current plans:

FRIDAY, 9/16/16

+ Decorating at the Eagles at 2:00

+ Tailgate Party prior to the PCHS-GSHS football game at Tiger Stadium in Princeton - 5:00 - to the left of the entrance at the stadium. (no alcohol!)

+ Attend the football game - Steve Hauger got us all free tickets, and Maria Simmons is singing the National Anthem.

+ Bonfire following the game (Princeton Fairgrounds)

SATURDAY, 9/17/16

+ New PCHS school tour at 1:00 (Steve Hauger!)

+ Tour of renovated Princeton Theater at 2:30 (Cindy Kissell!)

+ Reunion at Eagles Lodge, North Hart Street, 6:30

LOGISTICS
+ Eagles Lodge: 6:30-12. J.R. Hary is President, and is working with us to have a fun, affordable, and flexible event in the party room at the Eagles. We are going to have music from a Playlist to facilitate more conversation and visiting. The Eagles bar is available for alcoholic drinks. Food (heavy munchies/appetizers) will be provided along with sodas and tea. Photo Booth - $1.00 per photo! Thanks Karen Padgett Boxell!

BAND REUNION: A Marching Tiger Band reunion celebrating the 40th anniversary of the state championship in the fall of '76 and the Wible era (1974-78) will be on Saturday, September 17th at Dick Clark's banquet room from 11am-2pm. Kirk and Adrienne Wible will be in attendance. More details to follow. Contact Shawn at shawn@shawnspence.com.
